Powder coating is a durable, dry-finishing process used to apply a protective and decorative coating to metal vehicle parts. Most commonly alloy wheels, suspension components and engine parts. Unlike traditional liquid paint, it uses a finely ground powder made of resins and pigments that is applied electrostatically and cured under heat to form a hard "skin-like" layer.
